When given the opportunity, I have always voted to legalize marijuana. It makes sense to me to do so. But recent events are changing my mind.

"Why the fancy French name?" you might ask. Sometimes foreign words convey the essence of something better than the native tongue. In this case, 'causerie' hit all the notes I wanted. There seems to be a fundamental disconnection between the written word and the spoken word. I can't change that, but I can encourage a sense of crossing boundaries in communication. And that's what Causerie is all about. It's about getting the conversation going by whatever means necessary. Peace
