I am weary. Bone weary. I can't get a good night's sleep. I wake up from naps as tired as when I fell asleep. It's liminal, though.

I went to an anti-war march with a bunch of teenagers. Some of them have an amazing amount of energy and passion. I really wonder what happens to people as they age. When I was a kid, I was confident about what was right and what was wrong. Martin Luther King Jr was, and remains, a hero. He was right about things, and kids knew it. But with age comes degrees of qualification, and there's something saddening in that. The youth know - they might not always be able to articulate right but they know what it is.
